HRA exemption need to be calculated according to the section 10(13A). in case the employer calculated the HRA exemption wrongly or less or higher than the calculation comparing as per section. then you can re calculate yourself correctly and file the return. do keep the correct calculation with proof of documents in case A.O Calling for clarification
