how many years income return can
we file? as i know there are limit
for last 2 years return.
if i file return for the last 3 years
then what is the procedure ?
if i file online ereturn for the fy 2009-10
ay 10-11 then how to pay penalty of rs. 5000.00 ?.
at the file time or income tax department demand for that ?

We can file the IT return for AY 2011-12 and Ay 2012-13 now., we cannot file the IT return for the previous years.,in online also., the return will not be uploaded., it will not accept the return

The belated return can be filed upto the end of one year from the end of the assessment year or two years from the end of the previous year.

The experts are correct and you can file only 2 years return online but if there is refund in the years for which no return has been filed you can physically file to the ITO who will take permission from either CIT or CCIT to grant the refund this does not mean that your income has been assessed.
