Now a days , income tax department does not ask for any supporting documents. You need to keep them ready with as and when asked for by the department in due course of time.

I don't think any document is required, you just need Form 16 & 16 A to file the return and if you getting it filed by a CA then he will definitely ask for documents on the basis of which you are claiming deduction
