06 October 2010 plz clear my doubt i m a salary class person & my annualy income is 6 lakh than how much tds deducted from my salary from my income

as per my knowledge

160000 - 500000--- 10%
500000- 800000 20%

than it will be
600000-500000-100000
100000*20%--20000
sir it is right plz reply
