Issuing a certificate by a practising chartered accountantt

20 April 2012 If a practising chartered accountant is a full time practising chartered accountant with a partnership firm and has not taken an individual/ proprietorship firm name; can he sign a certificate in an individual name without using the name of the partnership firm.

21 April 2012 Hello, Yes a Practising CA is a full time practising CA, but he/she can be a partner with numbers. of firms or if he/she want than he can also registered his/ her own firm. but in all cases he/she has to be inform the ICAI in form No. 18.
