25 August 2012 Our Company has applied for mvat 2 months backs & Registration No has not been alloted to us due to delay in pre-verification by the dept. Can I issue Tax Invoice by quoting "Applied For" in the Invoice?

PLZ guide me.

25 August 2012 No , you can issue Tax Invoice before getting registered. What you can do is postpone bill preparation till you get VAT No.

As VAT No. will be given to you from date you have applied.
