Intimation u/s 245 from cpc banglore

22 October 2011 I have received intimation from CPC Banglore u/s 245 as Communication on Arrear Demand of my client.Adjustment of Current Refund to previous demand in notice u/s 143(1) which notice not received by client yet.Refund amount of client for a.y. 11-12 Rs.8000/- but demand for a.y.08-09 is Rs.21879/- and interest Rs.3501/- for adjusting current refund mentioned in intimation u/s 245.
So please what i do in this case.

22 February 2013 You cantact the Jurisdictional AO for the rectification of demand and seeking your refund. If not done in 30 days, the current year refund will be adjusted for that demand.
