I received an intimation u/s 143(1) for AY 2013-14 demanding for the payment of Rs 2300 and this tax is arrived by adding agricultural income 20000 but i have no agricultural income in the relevant year,so how to reply to this?????

Did you file an electronic return or a manual return? If you filed an electronic return, check the return and ensure that you did not fill agricultural income details. If you did, then file a revised return otherwise file a rectification application.

i have filed electronic return for AY 2013-14,in the intimation the income tax department added an amount of Rs 20000 as agri income and calculated tax so an additional tax of Rs 2300 is demanded,bt i have no agri income during the said year,so wat i do,how to reply to this,plz tell me the procedure for that...
