please give me the details of excise return filing date and what is the rate of interest on delay payment of excise duty.

As per rule 12 of central excise rules a monthly return, is to be submtted by every assessee to online, of production and removal of goods and cenvat credit availed by 10th of the following moth in form ER-1 and ssi unit can file quarterly return. Maximum penalty can be imposed of Rs. 5000/- per return.
