Is the EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE which is INCOME TAX FREE ORGANISATION, can deduct TDS for any Interest charged by the Builder and which is paid the institute to the builder.

Bassically TDS will apply for the interest payment to non banking sectors.
Educational institute run by trust/society kind of assessess covered under TDS section. so TDS will apply unless builder has the exemption certificate for TDS
