20 February 2012 My client has FD in joint name.
Then interest will be considered in whose income for tax purpose.

20 February 2012 Check FD is shown in balance sheet in which proportion in your client case, prportionately you can break up interest amount.

Also check form 26AS if TDS is deducted.
