I have cleared my pe2 in may2008 and completed 2yrs and 2 mths of articleship and left with 10 mths of articlship. I want to pursue the remaining period as an industrial trainee. I have also submitted form no. 109 and form no.104 as required in january 4th, 2011 but did not get the regitration letter yet. I am due for Final Examination May 2011. and I have filled the principle name as the one in IT as I have already joined and completed one mth here. I also called up at the institue to know my registration status but no response over the phone. How can I be confirmed that I am registered? Also I wanted to know how much leave we can take during articlship period? Is it one-sixth of the period served? Can anyone please send me any link which shows that?
I have faced similar problem when i did IT. About the exam form, what u hav done is correct. It takes some time for the institute to process 104. Please note that you need to send a letter along with form 109 written by your previous principal, stating the fact that u hav terminated contract with him/her to join IT. if u hav not sent this, then resubmit a photocopy of 109 with the said letter. Also, u will receive confirmation from institute on a later date with retrospective effect. I have mailed u a list of direct phone numbers of institute's personnel along with proforma letter from your previous principal.

HiPriya, Thanks a lot for ur response. I havn't send any letter from my previous firm. And my form 104 and 109 are sent to Delhi. I had submitted these 2 forms in Colaba, Mumbai branch. So where should I post the copy of form 109 with the letter?

Take a photo copy of the forms which you have submitted earlier. resubmit photocopy of 104, 109 and letter to coloba office itself. One of the main reasons for delay in processing these forms is not sending the letter. It is mentioned on form 104 that article should send a declaration from previous principal.
