Add all the elements of salary earnings such as basic salary, DA, HRA, transport, CEA, HEA, bonus, etc. to arrive at gross salary for the period (month / year). Then deduct all kind of recoveries such as Provident Fund (PF), ESI, TDS, Professional Tax, Loans, all other deductions etc. to arrive at net salary.
