i have not given rent receipt details to the employer and tds has been deducted by the employer now can i claim the HRA at the time of filing of return for A.Y.2011-12.

21 July 2011 YES... you can have your own tax computation, different from form 16.

But..you must keep all the supporting documents for your working, for future reference.
