30 July 2014 Is it necessary to show lic premium in ITR even if the assessee has income below taxable limits?

30 July 2014 no its not necessary its optional not mandatory....

whether income is above limit or not its just ooptional dear

31 July 2014 Though it is not necessary it is advisable that you mention the amount in ITR as deduction u/s 80C.
