A friend of mine is running a Dental Clinic. He approached me for filing his Income Tax return. Now can I file his Income u/s 44AD or is it 44ADA which is applicable to him.

please take this advice seriously. read the bare act and only after a thorough reading, ask others in case there is any doubt. You should read who is eligible for 44ad or not before asking others to simply resolve your issues so that you can go ahead and advice your clients without understanding the basic law.
