which is the last date for individuals filing ITR returns for the at 2016-17. I heard that this year time is extended up to 31st Aug 2016. Is it correct. Pl respond

No extension so far this year announced. Perhaps no extension will be given this year . hence file IT return now safely before 30th July to avoid last minute rush on 31.07.2016.
