Wheather it is compulsory to pay Income tax demand made u/s 156 , where the demand is made by raising returned income, assesment of which is made u/s 143 by Additional-CIT ?

What is the implication of sec-220 if made applicable to such demand??

07 January 2011 If you are not filing an appeal against the order of the ACIT then you have to compulsorily pay the tax as due.
