09 December 2011 my client is not file I.T return relating to a.y 2009-10 but he want to file the said return now.can he do so.if yes any penlaty is imposed upon him.

09 December 2011 You can file return of AY 2009-10 upto one year from the end of the relevant assessment year( 31.03.2011).

You can not file return now ...Return of Ay 2009-10 will time barred now
