01 June 2011 AN ASSESSEE HAS TWO HOUSE PROPERTY - ONE IN HIS NAME AND ANOTHER IN JOINT NAME WITH HIS WIFE. HE IS USING BOTH PROPERTY AS HIS RESIDENCE.

WHETHER 2ND PROPERTY WILL BE TREATED AS DEEMED TO BE LET OUT UNDER I.T ACT?

WHAT IF BOTH AFORESAID PROPERTY IS IN JOINT NAME?

01 June 2011 ONLY ONE PROP CAN BE TREATED AS SOP NO DIFF EVEN IF BOTH THE PROP ARE JOINTLY OWNED
