21 July 2017 Hi, my Form 26As shows 4 Lacs, but after my exemptions, say it will be 3.5 lac, I have mentioned in 3.5 lac in Tax details. Will I get any notice if there is mismatch of income shown in Form 26 AS & Tax details provided by me.?
Should I revise the return1

22 July 2017 While filling your ITR, you need to mention the gross income before any deduction should be at least equal to the income shown in 26AS.

The net taxable income will be arrived from the gross income reduced by deductions.

So if you have mentioned the gross income properly that is equal or more than the income reported in 26AS, no need to worry

22 July 2017 Yes I agreed to Mr. K Srinivas Sir. You can show your income of before excempt value and also shown excempt details in ITR then you can get your actual values.....
