Whether it is enough to take out an IEC code number for starting an Import export business in India (Maharashtra) or anything else is required?

If the goods not restricted under the act, No separate licence is required for export/ import business. Only IEC code is required to do start import/ export.
BEFORE IEC CODE APPLY PAN NO. AND EEFC ACCOUNT NO. IS OPENED IS MUST AS PER GUIDELINES OF RBI.
I ALSO WANTED TO INFORM YOU THAT IF WE AVAIL THE BENEFIT LIKE DEPB , DRAWBACK, MDA GRANT, ALSO MUST REGISTERED IN CONCERNED EXPORT PROMOTION COUNCIL ALSO .
