Hi, i wrote my Final exams in November 2010 but my performance was not up to the mark. I am planning to start my prepration for CA FInal May 2011 from next month itself cos i wanna clear in May 2011 badly. My Query is that which book shall i use for IDT? I used Yogendra Bangar's book for Nov 2010 but found the language of the book and volume too heavy for me to take. Can anyone suggest an alternate IDT book where the language is simple and which will help me to both way .i.e acquire knowledge as well as prepare from the exam point of view in a short period of time?? Thanks in Advance

Why no one is responding?? Did i ask such a tough question?? more than 3.5 lakh members and lots of experienced people as experts but still noone is ready to help me for a simple query which i have asked. Please suggest me a good book for IDT which can be easily digested by average students as well as useful from the exam viewpoint?

Sir Can you tell me about Vaitheeswaran Sir's and Ajay Jain's book also. I mean regarding their coverage keeping in view of exams oriented

dont change the books especially when you are referrrig some book / when you have lesser time for exam. Both are good in the sense, one is in question & answer type & other being like short stories.
I referred only Prof.N.S.Govindan who initially wrote IDT (part of Shrigurukripa.com) Now this book is co authored by 3 people.
From CA examination point of view, simply superb....... in fact the ICAI recommended this books for CA course.
To share with you, I got 65 in IDT. I also read both the above author once.
with due respect to both, I personally felt NS Govindan is ULTIMATE.

Dear Friend, you may also refer Datey's book on IDT. Its also a good book which i had personally referred during my Final Examinations. Wish you all the very best.

I agree with Hiren Datey is excellent, even i reffer it now, but as a CA finalist point of view, its like ocean student may not cover the entire syllabus....keeping in mind the other subjects of the group.
