I have done my MBA from symbiosis .....further i want to pursue ICWA course ....
My doubts ....whether i am eligible to apply for the same ....and since i am already employed in an IT major....can i pursue my course with Job ....and does ICWA have training period like CA ....is it possible to do ICWA correspondence....in case there is some training period i have to got through ...is there any way out for that !!!
Please reply me asap ...i don't want to miss out the dates !!!
i checked out the website recently .....according to new criteria from Jan 2008...u have to undergo training for 3 yrs ...u are exempted if u r working in firms( Clause 3).....now if u can pls tell me how can i claim this exemption and what is this clause 3

"The organizations other than the firms of professionals will be recognized for the purpose of training of the students if its annual turnover is Rs 5 crores or more. The authority under which the training is undertaken is referred to as Principal hereinafter.
Central/State Government / Semi-Government / Public Utilities Banks and other Financial Institutions Insurance Company Public Sector Unit Public Limited Company Private Limited Company Information Technology Sector KPO / BPO Stock Exchange Universities, Management Institutes and any other educational institute Limited Liability Partnership Firm Management Consultancy Firms NGO Co-operative societies engaged in Banking, Manufacturing Any other institution as approved by the Council
So your experience can be a substitue for training.. if not less than 3 years by the time you complete ICWA.
