25 January 2011 Can a private ltd. Share broking Company accept ICDs?

Is there a limit on accepting funds through ICDs?

25 January 2011 Provisions of section 372A of the Companies Act, 1956 pertaining to Inter corporate loans, investments, deposits etc. are not applicable to an Independent Private Company.

The Company in question can very well accept ICDs.
