30 August 2011 A couple have just got a child and wish to start a HUF for income tax purposes.

Kindly advise on details of registration with the I.T department.

Is any kind of agreement required??

Also does the HUF require registration anywhere other than the I.T department, like municipal corp etc..??

open a bank account and get a PAN , HUF is ready to operate
