It automatically comes into existence when a Hindu family comes into existence.
*
A single Individual can not form a family.
*
Family is consisting of husband & wife,
parents and their children and also other relatives connected by blood and descending from a common ancestor.

21 February 2011 There is no such pre-condition.
HUF comes into existence as soon as you get marry.
(It is implied that after marriage the couple will get god's gift. We can't make a pre-condition with the almighty.)
