If a member/karta gifts to HUF a sum of Rs.5 lacs & it is invested by HUF in FD then the interest on it is clubbed in the hands of the Karta/ member. However , i have a doubt as to whether on maturity of the FD , if the HUF reinvests the funds , will the income from the reinvested FD still be clubbed in the hands of the Karta/member?
Kindly solve the query at the earliest possible.

In my opinion it will not be clubbed since it is the first income which is clubbed.
