Dear Experts
My query is, I am a salaried person and wish to get HRA Exemption u/s 10(13A):
1) Can I claim same by paying to my parents-
a) In Cash of around 40000/- p.m
b) No agreement is made but rent receipt can be provided.
Kindly provide supporting of sections or circular that can be submitted to employer.

Dear User,
U can claim HRA only if u have paid your online by bank and u have a rent agreement with your family.
Further your family has to show the income in there income tax return.
As in your case u have paid the rent in cash and also u don't have any agreement so in my view u cant claim HRA deduction.
