Pls some one help me, one of our client vat (Karnataka)registration has been deregistered, because of not filing returns since the date registered ( for 2 year). please some one help me, how to activate it and is there any possibilities to activate online.

Compute tax liability along with interest till date of filing the return.Submit the form-100 with concerned department. JC approval is required to re- activate the TIN. After all the formalities necessary changes has to be done with I.T department.

as per computation, refund is coming, case worker is saying that there is no tax for government no need to reactivate and is saying go for new registration, is it correct.
is there any chances to directly approach IT department and ask for changes.

If the return is not filed there is statutory obligation on dealer to file. Or else dealer liable for criminal offence under KVAT Act 2003.
