Where we do not have control over the registered email, how shall we reset the password in incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in.
earlier we used to send an application to validate@incometaxindia.gov.in and the resent password is being sent the mail id from which such request is made.
now even on such request the department is sending new password to the registered email id.
Where we do not have control over the registered e-mail id what shall we do.
can we change the registered e-mail id without logging into the account.

dear experts, thank you. I have already called the helpline. They responded that they can only send the new password to the registered e-mail. Is there any other way to get the password changed.

Please ask them that you are unable to access that registered mail id as you forgot the password,, . . and ask them to guide how to file return in this case
