04 August 2010 Although each one student has his own specific style and accordingly he should choose the best one suitable to him.

To pass CA Final at one shot; don't target for 50% - target for 60%.

Choose at least 3 subjects where you have interest. Also focus on those subjects where you wish to make your career after having qualification in your hands.

Regularly read for 6 hours daily (without fail - if you fail sometimes; cover it up next day).

Pay attention on learning rather than reading only. After reading the whole topic; ask yourself what you understood. Revise immediately. It will take only 10 minutes.

Don't go too fast to cover the syllabus. Read analytically. Initially; the speed would be slow but after sometimes; analysing speed will automatically increase. Try it and then share your views here.

Have a good team of students with whom you can discuss your queries. It will add flavour to the studies.

Regularly update your books and notes with the help of CA Journal, Tax Magazines and various sites of Professional Institutions.

Be confident in speaking.

Major threat for you is that you come from Hindi Medium. Even if you are likely to write in Hindi; have command over English. You can quote certain sections in English at the time of examination which will have good impression in the mind of the examiner.

Dream for CA only for one year. Fruits for whole life !

(I am not suggesting particular books. Discuss it with other fellows because in Hindi; very few professional books are available).

Wish you all the best.
