house vacant for whole year FY 10-11. standard rent- 20000p.m. how much vacacy allowance i claim? Is it compulsary to claim vacancy allowance that in F.Y. 09-10 house property must be rented ?

Concept of deemed to be let out comes into picture only if u have more than one HP in ur self occupation if in ur case the prop is DTLP then standard tent will be the ALV
