11 October 2013 One of my Assessee has share of 50% in each of two house properties during the year. Do I need to take the deemed rent income from one of the house property during the year?

14 October 2013 yes. one can take self occupied and other can be deemed let out

You can let out the half portion as let out and the rest as self occupied..

For the computation of the Income from the house property in this case will be on proportionate basis..
