05 August 2013 if i have 2 house property and last year i had paid 3lacs as interest on laon for house property and the same house i had claimed as SOP cuz of this my Deduction on interest is restricted to 150000/-.Now i want to claim DLOP to that house can i proceed for the same.Plz suggest me asap.

05 August 2013 Yes. you can opt this year that house as deemed to letout with showing the rental income, it is option of assessee for declaring a house SOP or LOP, only condition one SOP can be availed, but selection of which house is assessee`s option
