12 June 2010 Hospitalization & Medical treatment received from company around 40000/- in a year is taxable or not ?
do we have to add in salary amount or not ?

12 June 2010 REIMBURSEMENT OF MEDICAL EXPENSES FROM COMPANY UPTO RS.15000 IS ALLOWED AS DEDUCTION. IN EXCESS OF RS.15000, IT IS TAXABLE IN HAND OF EMPLOYEE AS PERQUISITE.
