H form

This query is : Resolved

10 February 2014 There are three copies in h form buyers, sellers and officers. officers copy should be retained by seller or buyer?

10 February 2014 There are three copies:
Original-Retain with seller
Duplicate-Retain with seller (required to provide to department if demanded)
Counterfoil-given to purchaser
(all form should be filled completely at back side with signature and name of person signing the form).

10 February 2014 An exporter will obtain H form from his vat office,or now on line, in triplicate. He will retain the triplicate or the counterfoil with him and send the two copies i.e.original and duplicate to the seller. The seller will submit the original to the VAT officer of his area, within three months.Along with a H form the exporter should also send copies of further documents like,1) his buyer's purchase order(from foreign),2)bill of lading,3) packing list,4) invoice,to prove that such goods purchased against a H form were really exported.....mjk
