If a vendor is supplying goods for us and he also collects transportation charges from us .... now is there any laiblity on us to pay service tax on that transporation to concern dept. pls help me

Yes, if transporter not mentioned Service tax amount seperet and not collecting from you. then its your responsbility to deposit service tax to department.
