GST REGISTERED AS REG CONVERT FROM REGULAR TO COMP SCHM

19 August 2020 Dear Sir,
I have applied a GST registration as regular on 18th August but today tax payer saying they want to convert himself as composition gst application approved by department as regular,
if i am applying to opt composition scheme gst site not allowing me to do this,
requested to you please suggest me how can opt composition scheme.

20 August 2020 Once your GST registration is approved, try to change the scheme from regular to composition.

20 August 2020 You cannot opt for the composition scheme in between the year.You have to apply before start of the year.If you are eligible you can changeover to composition scheme only from 1.4.2021.
