19 November 2011 If co. does provision for gratuity each year and any employee left co before completing the 5 year, then co what will do of the previous gratuity provision ?

please help me.

21 November 2011 It depends on the employment contract. If gratuity is the part of salary, the same is reuired to be paid even the employee left before completion of 5 years. If not payable, surplus should be adjusted with the current year's gratuity provision.
