15 February 2010 Hi,

Act Says that one should get eligible only after completion of 5 years with the same organization but doesnt' clearly mentioned anywhere that "5 full completed years".

As per Act years would be calculated as a complete year on every excessive of six month into one calender year.

My Query is if someone has completed 4.9 year with one organization, will he be eligible to get Gratiuity Amount from the Organization???
