sir My doubt is that as per the extended date for GMCS completion i.e,December 2013,Whether i need to complete the course by December 2013 or is it sufficient if the batch is started within December 2013 and ending in the January 1st week.

See if notification states that you should complete your gmcs by 31st december.this in itself indicates that it has to be completed within decemeber.Ask your regional office coordinator for more clarification
