02 April 2010 Are the cash gifts received by an individual on the ocassion of Betrohol is exempt from TAX ?

02 April 2010 Could u please explain what is Betrohol?

I think it is engagement and that gifts will not be exempt as only gift at the time of mariage are exempt and not enaggement
