Sir/Madam, As usual I was filing my quarterly return for the company. Certainly I saw that the frequency from quarterly becomes six-monthly from FY 2015-16. I want to know how this frequency has been changed? I didn't applied for this? It is automatically changed. Please explain?

Under M Vat Acterioicity for return depends on tax payable/refundable for returns of earlier year ({return due in earlier year, see rule 17(4)(b)& (e)}.
