Form 16 without remittance of TDS

I have been advised to issue TDS certificate to employees. Though TDS is deducted, the same has not been remitted.

Is it legally and technically possible ?

02 August 2010 No it is not possible. Because you have mention CIN no and details of deposit in form 16.

02 August 2010 agreed, issue of form 16 without depositing TDS i.e without mentioning detail of CIN is void ab-intio, i.e it is not valid.
