Foreign Remittance for Indian Branch

Ours is a Branch Office of a Foreign company. We are in need of funds for expansions in India. How can we take advance from our Head Office? Are there any RBI/FEMA guidelines for the same? Pls Advise.

19 February 2011 Ya there are seprate guidelines for the same by RBI but they permit taking money from head office.The money can be taken from Head Office as the Indian entity as well as foreign entity are same for the purposes of Income tax.
