Foreign currency hedging profit

i want to know about the tax liability of the foreign currency hedging and F&O transaction.
whether it is consider as normal business profit or as speculation profit or as STCG/LTCG
please provide us your valuable advise.

04 February 2012 In my view it shall be speculation profit.. would suggest you to also refer section 43(5)..
