For signing of financial statement

My query is:-
Is it mandatory to sign all pages of Notes to the account of company's financial statement by Director's as well as Auditor's ?
If yes than please quote provision/reference for it.

18 December 2013 Technically yes As financial statement included not only profit loss and balance sheet but also schedules and notes to accounts (and now cash flow statement as well)
