This query is : Resolved

17 December 2016 Dear Experts,

Iam an unregd dealer till now and iam dealing in cash but now the situation arise due to notebandi that i have to be regd under sales tax act. due to this now i have two businesses. first without reg. & second is regd. i filed my previous itr 4s and balance sheet was prepared at that time. now i have a question that while filing the return for 2016-17 how can i show unregd. business & regd. business in ITR.

or can i show my unregd business under 44ad and regd business in which books of accounts are maintained both at the same time in itr 4.

one more question that the balance sheet prepare by me for last year can be utilised for my current accounting records or not...???

17 December 2016 Both business has to be combined and shown in ITR 4S/4 as applicable. Correct the balance sheet including the unregistered business.

17 December 2016 You can show combined turnover and declare the profit, if you have filed tax return for earlier business income than you. Can take the balance sheet incorporating current year adjustment.
