Yes.... there will be an extention... You are allowed to take 1/7th days leave of the total period u serve..... ur working days with the CA prior to registration is irrelevant..... if u r serving a period of 3 years of articleship, u r eligible to take leave of 1/7th days of total period of 3 years viz 1095 days which comes to 156 leaves in 3 years.... Accordingly calculate the total number of leaves u have actually availed after u joined the firm as an article excluding sundays n public holidays and deduct 156 days from ur actual leave....... if the answer is positive, the extention will be the number of days u calculated.... extention of articleship is definately warranted. bye how much days, u ll haveto inquire in the institute, they will give u the exact amount of days so that u can again sign the 102 n 103.
